What is the High School Food Truck Battle?
For the second year in a row, The Art Institute of Austin, a branch of The Art Institute of Houston has organized the High School Food Truck Battle at the Round Rock Chalk Walk. The concept is simple – provide high school Culinary programs an opportunity to showcase their skills. We are thrilled to work with so many great community sponsors to make this event possible.
How it works
Grand Prize: A panel of judges will taste all dishes and determine the winning team who will receive $10,000 worth of tuition scholarships to The Art Institute of Austin and the High School Food Truck 
Traveling Trophy.
People’s Choice: YOUR votes will determine the “People’s Choice” champion. You can purchase
extra votes for your favorite dish (or school) BEFORE the event by donating below.Remember, the more you vote, the more money each school will receive.
Proceeds from event ticket sales and People’s Choice votes
will be divided equally and donated back to all the participating high schools.
