IM OK 5K Run/Walk for Epilepsy | April 30, 2016

IM OKKadenThe IM OK 5K SuperHero Fun Run & Walk was created in memory of Kaden Smith, a young boy who passed away as a result of a fatal seizure in August 2010. This event gives us the opportunity to celebrate Kaden’s life while raising epilepsy awareness. The foundation is excited to announce the event will be held at Old Settler’s Park where you can enjoy the beautiful “crown jewel” of Round Rock’s park system while supporting a good cause! Join us for the 6th annual IM OK SuperHero 5K Fun Run & Walk on April 30, 2016!

Runners will enjoy a 3.1 mile noncompetitive run through Old Settler’s Park in Round Rock. Dogs, strollers, families, joggers and walkers are all welcome as there is a course fit for everyone! You can choose a 5K route (3.1 miles) or a shortcut, 1 mile route.

Don’t want to get up at the crack of dawn? Join us as a “Sleep in for a Cause” Virtual Walker! Help the cause without missing a wink of sleep. Virtual walkers receive all the benefits of participating without having to be there on the big day!

Event proceeds benefit the programs and services of the Epilepsy Foundation Central & South Texas. The Epilepsy Foundation Central & South Texas is the only non-profit organization solely dedicated to providing epilepsy services to the more than 141,000 adults and children in Central and South Texas.

Join us in our mission to improve the lives of people with epilepsy to ensure that not another moment is lost to seizures.
