Kick & Roll Classic 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament
Assemble your teams and make necessary plans now – the sneaker-themed, colon cancer awareness Kick & Roll Classic 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament is back this summer. Benefitting the Kiel Colon Cancer Foundation’s research fund and sponsored by the Josh Childress Foundation, the third annual Kick & Roll Classic will take place on July 9th from 10 AM – 6 PM at the state-of-the-art Round Rock Sports Center facility. Two age groups – 15-17 and 18 and Up – will be eligible to play and, although a 3-on-3 basketball tournament, up to six players will be allowed on each team. Registration for both age groups is now open at kielcoloncancer.org/events.
The Classic is the biggest sneaker-themed basketball tournament event in the USA. “I’ve been amazed at how the event has grown over the past three years,” said George Kiel, founder of the Kiel Colon Cancer Foundation. “We have a ton of new prizes this year and a few, special NBA guests that attendees will enjoy.” The Classic has become a highly anticipated, annual event where hoops fans and sneakerheads get together for a good cause while displaying their best skills and sneakers on the court. A few NBA sneakerheads will be on hand as “sneaker judges,” choosing their favorite footwear on court. Prizes fromthe likes of Stance Socks, Nike, adidas, Under Armour, Foot Locker and more will be handed out to our sneaker award winners and overall winners of the tournament. We will also have a ton of giveaway and raffle prizes available from the likes of In-N-Out, Stance and many others for the spectators.
