Got questions about Medicare? Come to the Medicare 101 Educational Event on Wednesday, Sept. 13, 2017 from 2:00 to 3:30 p.m. at the Round Rock Public Library, Meeting Room A, to get some answers!
Medicare specialist Lee B. Green will provide an overview of Medicare and will answer questions, including:
- How do I sign up for Medicare?
- What does it cost?
- What are Parts A, B, C, and D of the federal Medicare program?
- What’s the difference between a Medicare supplement and a Medicare Advantage plan?

About the presenter
Lee B. Green is a licensed insurance agent who specializes in helping Medicare beneficiaries navigate all of their coverage options. He is familiar with all types of Medicare coverage include Medicare Supplement Plans, Medicare Advantage Plans, and Rx plans.
Lee began his career in the insurance industry in 1978 as a Presidential Management Intern for the Federal Government. He served as the Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Scott & White Health Plan from 2005-2014.
Lee had a successful career in the Chicago area where he spent eighteen years at the executive level for the Principal Financial Group, United Healthcare, Rush-Prudential Health Plans, and Guardian Life Insurance Company.
Lee received his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Maryland. His Masters in Public Administration was earned at George Washington University in Washington, D.C. Lee and his wife, Vivian, reside in Austin, Texas.
Lee has served as Chairperson of the Bell County American Heart Association’s Annual Gala, has been a member of the Temple Rotary Club and has performed volunteer work for the area food banks. In addition, he has periodically spoken as an expert on health care reform for various community organizations.
