Nutty Brown Cafe Move to Round Rock Delayed til 2019

The Nutty Brown Cafe and Amphitheater planned move to Round Rock has been delayed according to owner Mike Farr’s interview with Community Impact. The move was originally set for Spring 2018 and has now been pushed back until Spring 2019 due to construction delays with the Texas Department of Transportation for roadway access.

Another delay is due to the actual sale of land to Nutty Brown which has been pushed back because of a change in zoning. After which TxDOT can begin to work on the entrance to Nutty Brown off the I-35 frontage road.

The plans are to build a new building & amphitheater on the site of McNeil park, on the east side of I-35 between the Old Settlers & University exits.

Though disappointed in the delay, we are looking forward to welcoming this new music venue to Round Rock.
