Papi’s Pies is Turning 5 and Throwing a Party!
ROUND ROCK, TX – Papi’s Pies is proud to invite the community to celebrate its 5th anniversary.
In addition to our award-winning desserts, we are also known for our Bolivian salteñas. This Bolivian national dish is something only a few restaurants across the nation have on their daily menu, meaning we are the Southwest’s home for this delicacy! Our recipe hails from our co-owner’s family recipe from Cochabamba. What is a salteña? Some people describe them as: What if a soup dumpling and an empanada had a baby? But actually, this dish has its roots in Cornwall, England, as South America’s answer to the mid-morning miner’s snack, the Cornish pasty!
In addition to serving meals and desserts from its heritage kitchen for over 5 years, Papi’s Pies has also had an ongoing commitment to celebrating the creative community of Round Rock, with recurring exhibits by local artists on its walls, as well as two new murals by local artists in its patio.
We invite everyone to celebrate at this free community party, which in addition to an anniversary celebration, will double as an exhibit reception, featuring the work of two local artists, who recently launched their own art business, Wicked Dual (https://wickeddual.com).
The restaurant is grateful for the community’s fervent support for its making it to the fifth year mark, especially during the pandemic. This party is our thank you.
Note about parking for the party: There is ample parallel parking on both sides of Chisholm Trail Road.
