Reading Buddies | 2nd Saturday of Every Month
Students in grades K-3 are invited to drop by the library and read with teen volunteers from the McNeil High School Book Club on the second Saturday of every month. Volunteers will be here 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. in the Children’s area. If your child would enjoy sharing a book with one of our reading buddies, just come by the library, walk up, and ask for a turn.
This is a great opportunity for new readers to practice reading aloud, and also for them to talk about the books they love with other enthusiastic fans.
