Round Rock Express Theme Nights – 2019 Season

The Round Rock Express Theme Nights have been recently announced, making going to a baseball game even MORE fun!  Take a look at the Round Rock Express Theme Nights for 2019.

Round Rock Express Theme Nights

Dell Diamond will host a wide range of characters this season as the Round Rock Express host dozens of different theme nights, highlighted by the inaugural Pints & Pups, Star Wars Night, and revamped 90’s Nickelodeon Night. The specialty themed games will begin just after Opening Day festivities on April 7.

Pints & Pups – Thursdays

Fans are invited to bring their four-legged friends to the ballpark one Thursday each month – April 11, May 16, June 13, July 11, & August 15 – while enjoying discounted beer specials as part of The Original Thirsty Thursday, presented by Firetrol Protection Systems.

Education Day – Monday, April 15

Dell Diamond will transform into the largest classroom in Central Texas on Monday, April 15 for the third annual Education Day with the Round Rock Express! There will be exhibits throughout the ballpark covering subjects like science, history, geography and math plus college admissions officers, recruiters, giveaways and more.

Education Day is open to all students from kindergarten through 12th grade. Give your students a fun opportunity to learn, grow, play and see future Houston Astros players take the field against the reigning Triple-A National Champion Memphis Redbirds.

Bark in the Park – April 28 & August 26

Spike is letting the dogs out at Dell Diamond again on Sunday, April 28 as the Express welcome the return of Bark in the Park, presented by Action Pack Dog Center. Fans are encouraged to bring their furry friends to the 1:05 p.m. game against the Iowa Cubs (Chicago Cubs affiliate) for a fun day at the park.

Star Wars Night – Friday, April 26

The Force returns to Dell Diamond on Friday, April 26 for the annual Star Wars Night. Enjoy a pregame lightsaber battle and meet your favorite characters from a galaxy far, far away.

Field of Dreams Night – Saturday, April 27

Next up, on Saturday, April 27, the Express host Dwier Brown, who played John Kinsella in the classic baseball movie Field of Dreams.

512 Day – Sunday, May 12

The E-Train will celebrate all things Central Texas on Sunday, May 12 for (512) Day. The 1:05 p.m. game features a tribute to the 512 area code, complete with special $5.12 general admission lawn tickets.

Fitness in the Park  – Sunday, May 19

A week later, Fitness in the Park returns bigger and better than ever on Sunday, May 19.

Wine & Nine – Wednesday, May 22

“Sip” back and relax during our special Wine & Nine event Wednesday, May 22, complete with a special ticket package that includes a collapsible Express wine tumbler.

Military Appreciation Night – Thursday, May 23

The E-Train will salute our nation’s service men and women on Thursday, May 23 with Military Appreciation Night. Each branch of the armed services will be honored during the game, and fans can thank those who serve with special tributes, memorials and recognitions.

Comic Con Night – Friday, June 14

Round Rock’s first-ever Comic Con Night is slated for Friday, June 14. Fans are encouraged to dress up as their favorite comic book superheroes to celebrate the occasion.

Father’s Day – Sunday, June 16

Thanks to United Heritage Credit Union, Sunday, June 16 is the day for dads as the United Heritage Center is transformed into an exclusive Father’s Day lounge. Access to the lounge can be added to a game ticket for an additional $10.

Princess Night – Monday, June 17

Start practicing your fairytale wave as Dell Diamond will once again transform into a royal palace on Monday, June 17 for Princess Night. With princesses abound throughout the ballpark, fans are encouraged to dress up as their favorite storybook character as they look over their magical kingdom.

 

Win a Used Car Night – Saturday, June 29 

Thanks to our friends at the Nyle Maxwell Family of Dealerships, Win a Used Car Night returns on Saturday, June 29 as a handful of fans will leave the ballpark in a previously-loved ride.

Space Night – Friday, July 12

NASA will take over Dell Diamond on Friday, July 12 for Round Rock’s inaugural Space Night. Along with NASA, the team will be celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 lunar landing, which took place on July 20, 1969.

90s Night – Saturday, July 13

Another “out of this world” celebration is set for Saturday, July 13 as the Express host 90s Night. The totally tubular theme night comes complete with a fanny pack giveaway for the first 2,500 fans, thanks to H-E-B, before a postgame concert by 90s cover band Zoodust as part of the St. David’s Summer Concert Series, presented by Dell.

Hot Dog-Palooza – Wednesday, July 17

During the “dog days of summer,” Round Rock will host Hot Dog-Palooza, an exclusive Dell Diamond hot dog sampling event. Fans can purchase a special $10 ticket add-on to join hot dog heaven on Wednesday, July 17.

First Responders – Thursday, July 18

First Responders Night, presented by United Heritage Credit Union, is scheduled for Thursday, July 18 as the Express honor all of our police, fire, EMS and other first responders.

The Office Night – Thursday, July 25

Bears, beets and Battlestar Galactica will be on full display for The Office Night on Thursday, July 25.

Wizarding Night – Wednesday, July 31

Wingardium Leviosa! The team will celebrate Harry Potter’s birthday on Wednesday, July 31 for the third annual Wizarding Night. Muggles, witches and wizards alike are all invited to Dell Diamond to celebrate The Boy Who Lived.

Augtoberfest – Thursday, August 1

Prost! Augtoberfest returns on Thursday, August 1. Food and drink specials will be available throughout the ballpark to celebrate an early start to Oktoberfest.

Round Rock Express Hall of Fame Night – Friday, August 16

Round Rock Express Founder and former CEO Reid Ryan will become the sixth inductee into the Express Hall of Fameon Friday, August 16. Several former Express players, coaches and staff will be on hand to see the enshrinement.

80s Night – Saturday, August 17

Next up, 80s Night returns on Saturday, August 17, thanks to Rush Automotive. The radical and righteous celebration features a postgame concert by The Spazmatics as part of the St. David’s Summer Concert Series, presented by Dell.

Woodstock Night – Friday, August 23

The last homestand of the season features Woodstock Night on Friday, August 23. Round Rock will pay homage to the iconic music festival that took place 50 years ago this August.

Shirt off their Back Night – Sunday, August 25

Shirt-Off-Their-Back Night is back on Sunday, August 25. Thanks to United Heritage Credit Union, fans can enter a raffle to win an Express jersey literally off a player’s back following the game.

Fan Appreciation Night – Thursday, August 29

Finally, the season will conclude with Fan Appreciation Night on Thursday, August 29 as the Express celebrate their great fans with player autographs, photo opportunities and much more.
