Williamson County Symphony Orchestra May Outdoor Concert Series

A NEW CONCERT VENUE – LAKELINE PARK

YES, the concert for Friday evening May 19th will be at the newly opened LAKELINE PARK.  This wonderful new park is just off of US 183 in south Cedar Park.  Turn west on Little Elm Trail, then take the third left into the park.

Now the Saturday evening concert May 20th will once again be at the Lakeview Pavilion in Old Settlers Park in Round Rock.

Joshua Thompson, Director of the nationally renowned Westwood High School Orchestra, will again conduct the Orchestra for the May concert series having conducted the Orchestra in March of 2022.  

The Orchestra will present an exciting concert entitled “Orchestral Fireworks”.  The first half will showcase European works from the mid 1800s to the early 1900s.  If you watched the coronation of King Charles, the exit piece was Elgar’s Pomp & Circumstances #4!!  The second half will showcase American composers and their works from the 1940s to the 1980s.
