ZACH Theater Announces Casting for Charlotte’s Web

February 13–May 17, 2026 | The Kleberg at Zach

(AUSTIN, TX) – Zach Theater announces cast and creatives for Charlotte’s Web, written by E.B. White and adapted by Joseph Robinette. Featuring bluegrass music and aerial artistry, Charlotte’s Web plays February 13–May 17, 2026 at The Kleberg at Zach.

Charlotte’s Web includes both an adult and student cast. The adult cast includes Laura Husmann as Charlotte; Lydia Margitza as Goose; Jon Edward Cook as Templeton; David James as Mr. Arable; Jerome Schoolar as Homer Zuckerman; Myk Garcia as Narrator#1/Mrs. Arable; and Alicia Frias as Understudy.

The alternating student cast includes Liam Minor and Blair Morgan as Wilbur; and Wiley Davis and Amelia Galido as Fern Arable with Pepper Love Nugent and Teddy Coleman-Oliver as Understudies.

“In this production of Charlotte’s Web, we wanted to lean into the poetry and emotional heart of the story,” said director Miller. “Casting an aerial artist as Charlotte allows her to embody the movement of a spider in a captivating and beautiful way. Pairing that with live bluegrass music played by the cast creates a shared language between performers and audience, underscoring the story with warmth, simplicity, and emotional depth. Together, these elements help tell a beautiful story that reminds us that words and small voices matter.”

Directed by Nat Miller with musical direction by Jerome Schoolar, the Charlotte’s Web production team includes Michael Krauss as scenic designer; Austin Manning as scenic coordinator; Brady Flock as properties designer; Kerry Bechtel as costume designer; Rachel Atkinson as lighting designer; Siegen Bretzke as sound designer; Gloria Labatut Davies as stage manager; and Ella Jackson as assistant stage manager.
