Brushy Creek Arbor Day Celebration | December 9, 2016
Brushy Creek MUD is celebrating Arbor Day on Friday, December 9, 2016 from 3:00pm – 5:30pm. They will be giving away tree seedlings and hosting education activities with an arborist and the National Parks Service.
Join us after school on Arbor Day at the Community Center to learn about trees and do some planting.
- A tree seedling will be available to each participant.
- A tree Id walk with an arborist will take place to learn more about trees and their benefits to us.
- Educational activities about fire safety brought via the National Parks Service information from Smokey the Bear outreach.
- Water and healthy snacks will be provided.
- Patches are available for participation.
