Dance Workshop: Dancing into Motion at the Library (Grades K-2) | March 8, 2017
The Round Rock Public Library and Metamorphosis Dance will host a dance workshop for children in kindergarten – 2nd grade on Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at 4:30 pm in Meeting Room C. Online preregistration in required. Only participating children need to register. Workshop is free and is limited to 40 participants.
“Dancing into Motion” is workshop for K-2 graders that teaches the concepts of physics through dance. Students in K-2nd grade will have the opportunity to see physics in action with a scientist, Colby Snyder, co-creater Allisyn Paino-Martin of Ballet Austin, and the dancers of Austin Metamorphosis Dance Ensemble telling the story of motion. The workshop is 50 minutes, and includes participation of the attendees, as well opportunity to ask questions at the conclusion.
