Explore the world of fallen leaves at Rockin’ Kids Club at the Library (ages 5 and up) | December 18, 2017
It’s science week at Round Rock Public Library, and our Good Water Texas Master Naturalists friends are coming to help us explore the fascinating world of leaf litter. Explore the world of fallen leaves at Rockin’ Kids Club: Science (ages 5+) on Monday, December 18, 2017 from 4:30 pm – 5:15 pm
Yes, leaf litter.
Piles of fallen leaves are tiny ecosystems. Get a close-up look at what happens as leaves decay, and learn why leaf litter is a healthy part of the larger ecosystem.
Expect leaves, bugs, and powerful microscopes.
We’ll begin at 4:30 p.m., and you can explore as long as you’d like, up to 5:15 p.m.
Every Monday afternoon the library hosts a rotating schedule of activities. Here’s the regular rotation:
- 1st Monday: LEGO® free-build
- 2nd Monday: Art Club
- 3rd Monday: Science Club
- 4th Monday: Game On!
- 5th Monday: Librarian’s Choice
