Have a Ball Contest | March 7-April 8, 2016
The Round Rock Area Arts Council and Round Rock Express present Have a Ball!
Transform a baseball, or two or three into a creative work of art. Any medium, any design, and any number of balls – Your Artistic Expression.
Art balls may have an opportunity for purchase/auction at the Round Rock Express home game on Saturday, April 16th
ENTRY: MARCH 7th – APRIL 8th, 2016
Submit all ball masterpieces to ArtSpace, 231 East Main, Round Rock, during our hours of operation, listed here. Please use this form Have A Ball Entry Form 2016 when dropping off your artistic creation. Last day to enter your artwork into the contest is April 8th.
AWARDS CATEGORIES:
Artists/Individuals, Businesses/Organizations, High School, Middle School, Kinder through 5th grades, (First, second, third and honorable mention category winners)
JUDGING:
Judging will take place on April 11th and winners will be notified via email. Winners will receive special Round Rock Arts Golden Bats and will be announced via email. Do not need to be present to win.
SILENT AUCTION:
April 16, 2016, Round Rock Express Game at Dell Diamond (Home Plate Entrance)
Bidding starts at 5:30 pm, April 16th, Bidding closes at 8:30 pm, April 16th

All submitted entries will receive a free ticket to the Saturday, April 16th Round Rock Express game and a discount code for additional tickets on Saturday, April 16th. Gates open at 5:30 p.m./Gametime 7:05 p.m.
All submitted art balls will be available for purchase during the Round Rock Express home game on April 16th. Winning art balls will be highlighted in the auction on April 16th. Proceeds benefit art scholarships and Round Rock Arts. All baseball works of art will become the property of Round Rock Arts.
