Is Tumble 22 Coming to Round Rock?
We spied a Tumble 22 trailer parked outside the former location of Fuddrucker’s this week, leading us to assume that the popular Nashville-Hot Chicken location was coming to Round Rock!
Despite being able to find that information online, the fact that the building is starting to resemble the Tumble 22 location in Cedar Park and the trailer is parked out from is a pretty good sign that they will be bringing their chicken to our town very soon!
What is Tumble 22?
According to their website:
Tumble 22 Hot Chicken is blazing a new trail in Austin, and now Houston! Inspired by Nashville hot chicken, Harold Marmulstein, Salty Sow Chef and Owner is expanding his portfolio bringing his chef-inspired knack to the newest venture Tumble 22 Hot Chicken, changing the way Austin experiences chicken.
The all natural chicken is fried and coated in Chef Marmulstein’s own secret blend of spices, getting its heat from the cayenne and spice dip. The basic components of the dish are chicken, a combination of spices, and careful cooking in hot oil.
So how hot is it? Tumble 22’s heat levels don’t mess around ranging from ‘wimpy’ to ‘Stupid Hot’. But, before you delve into this culinary adventure be forewarned, you’ve got to be ready to take a little heat. For those who don’t like it hot, the menu includes other flavor options and sauces like Sweet Chili Yogurt and Cilantro Mint.
