Memorial Day Service at Round Rock Veterans Monument | May 27, 2019
The City of Round Rock Parks and Recreation Department is proud to announce that a Memorial Day Ceremony will be held on Monday, May 27, 2019 beginning at 11:00 am in honor of the men and women who serve or have served in the US Armed Forces. The ceremony will be conducted by Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 9078 at Veterans Park located at 600 Pecan Avenue near the current Veterans Memorial.
The Veterans memorial has been expanded with 6 new columns where new plaques will be displayed. These plaques are replacements for the ones currently displayed at the flag pole. You may now order plaques in honor of a loved one or family member by contacting the Round Rock Parks and Recreation Department at 512 218-5540.
