Round Rock Rides is the City of Round Rock’s on-demand ride-sharing program that offers an affordable public transit option within the City of Round Rock service area where traditional bus routes are not feasible.

Call (512) 312-2124 to schedule a ride. Phone reservations can be made from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Saturdays, excluding major holidays.
Notice to Riders: All customers must create an account before booking their first trip.
A Few FAQs
Where do I meet my driver?
We’ll assign you a specific “virtual bus stop” or designated pick-up location where riders will meet their driver. Riders can check the app for directions and follow the progress in real time so they know exactly when to head to their stop. We advise riders to be on time and suggest they reach their pickup location at least 5 minutes before the pick-up window.
Who will be my driver?
Round Rock Rides has partnered with zTrip to provide trained drivers for quality on-demand service. As with all Round Rock contracted operators, all drivers must pass a background check and complete appropriate training. Additional screenings, such as drug and alcohol testing, will also be performed. Round Rock drivers are contracted by zTrip.
Can I bring someone with me?
Sure! You can request an additional 3 seats per trip; any more seating requests may require an additional vehicle to be sent and your party to ride separately. Each additional rider will also be charged the same rate as the fare and must be at the same pickup and drop-off location. The cost of all riders will be billed to the card on file. No flag-down or walk-on trips shall be permitted.
Are the vehicles safe?
Yes! Vehicles are operated by a contractor who performs background checks on their drivers, provides training, and does drug and alcohol testing. All vehicles must comply with safety and accessibility requirements.
Paratransit Service (Disability)
Paratransit Service is a transportation option provided through Round Rock Rides for customers who cannot use regular bus service because of a disability. It is a shared-ride, curb-to-curb service and is available for any trip purpose and can be scheduled in advance. Van operators help passengers on and off vehicles but do not provide medical assistance or emergency service. Drivers cannot help load or unload personal items and are restricted from entering any home or facility.
Individuals must apply to determine eligibility which is based on an individual’s functional ability to use regular city bus service. Applicants may be asked to participate in a physical functional assessment as part of the eligibility determination process.
