Paint It Forward at The Learning Experience | February 24, 2018
Preschoolers at The Learning Experience® invite you to their first-ever “Paint it Forward,” a free family-fun event. Students and parents will be given supplies to create various artwork which event attendees will have the opportunity to bid on and purchase, with all proceeds benefiting Make-A-Wish® to help grant “wishes” of children diagnosed with life-threatening medical conditions. . The event will take place on February 24, 2018, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at 15542 Ranch Road 620 N in Austin, Texas.
Attendees can expect to participate in different activities throughout the event including face painting, photo booth, a heart-shaped cookie decorating station, and taking tours of the facility. Light refreshments will be served. Additionally, taking inspiration from the curriculum designed to teach the core tenets of selflessness, generosity, and giving, all proceeds from the paintings will be donated to Make-A-Wish® to help grant “wishes” of children diagnosed with life-threatening medical conditions.
“We are excited to host our first ever ‘Paint it Forward’ to bring Brushy Creek and all our surrounding communities together for a great cause,” said Patrick Kohlbrenner, Business Manager at The Learning Experience in Brushy Creek. “It’s a great opportunity to reinforce the philanthropic lessons our students learn consistently within our classrooms as they put what they learn into action while having fun.”
