Rockin’ Kids Club hosts UT Computer Science Roadshow

We’ll be learning to code. This activity is for elementary students. Kindergartners and first graders may find this activity less frustrating if their trusted adult is willing to learn alongside them; don’t worry, grown-ups, the UT students make coding easy to learn.

PLEASE NOTE: The library has a few tablets and Chromebooks to share; if you have a tablet or laptop you can bring to use at the program, you’ll free up devices for the kids who cannot bring their own. We’d like for as many children to be able to participate as possible.

Everyone can use the Library’s free WiFi.

Every Monday afternoon the library hosts a rotating schedule of STEAM activities. Join the fun at 4:30 p.m.

Regular activities:

  • 1st Monday: Lego Free-Build
  • 2nd Monday: Art Club
  • 3rd Monday: Science Club
  • 4th Monday: Game On!
  • 5th Monday: Book & Craft

Guidelines:

  1. Please arrive on time.
  2. Younger children may require parental assistance.
  3. You do not need to pre-register to attend these programs unless you are bringing six or more children.
