Round Rock ISD Proposed Reopening Plan 2020-2021 is presented below in slide format.
In a recent Facebook Post, Round Rock ISD Board Member Cory Vessa shared slides that will be presented by RRISD Superintendent Steve Flores regarding potential scenarios for the upcoming 2020-2021 school year.
A planned Board of Trustees meeting will occur next Monday, July 13, where the below slides will be presented.
It was also announced that Four Virtual Town Hall meetings will be held for parents/citizens/staff can participate:
Monday, July 20th – Public Health Guidelines/Safety Measures
Wednesday, July 22 – Virtual Learning/Support Services
Tuesday, July 28 – Elementary Parents Overview
Thursday, July 30 – Middle/High School Parents Overview

Round Rock ISD Proposed Reopening Plan 2020-2021 Slides
TEA released their guidelines on July 7 – all districts in Texas must provide in person instruction Monday – Friday, as well as an online option. If the school district does not comply with TEA regulations, they receive no funding.
Surveys were sent to both parents of RRISD students and staff the first week of July.
This slide presents whey hybrid is not an option for RRISD.
Families will have a choice – 100% in person or 100% Virtual.
