Round Rock ISD Seminar: Study Skills: Organization & Note-taking | January 29, 2020
Round Rock ISD is hosting a Parent & Family Seminar entitled Study Skills: Organization & Note-taking on Wednesday, January 29, 2020 from 6 PM – 7 PM at Round Rock High School, Old Cafeteria #700 Building. Advance registration is required.
Discover the key to effective note-taking. Effective note-taking goes beyond the actual act of taking notes. Developing note-taking skills can aid retention, decrease frustration, improve time management and academic success. At this workshop, students and parents learn together. Students gain proficiency in the essential skills of organization and note-taking while parents/guardians learn how to support their students in the practice of applying these newly acquired skills.
For: Parents/Guardians and their student(s), grades 8 -10.
Location: Round Rock High School in the Tool Box, 300 N. Lake Creek Dr. in Round Rock.
Free. To accommodate for space and supplies, registration for Study Skills: Organization & Note-taking is required.
