Virtual Donut Dash 5K – May 16, 2020
Accept the ultimate donut challenge and join us for the 2nd Annual Round Rock Donut Dash 5K VIRTUAL on Saturday, May 16. In this unique event you’ll refuel with a mid-point pit stop for a donut (or a dozen!) from your favorite local donut shop. Pick up your own favorite donuts or head over to the Brushy Creek Trail East between Freeman Park and AW Grimes Blvd. on Saturday, May 16 where we will have donut pickup stations on the trail system to help you complete your challenge.
This year we have turned the event into a virtual 5k and will be hosting a Facebook LIVE/ZOOM event on Saturday, May 16th at 8:00am to kick off the event. We will be LIVE from 8am to 9am and we invite you to check in with us via ZOOM and your smart phone and talk with us LIVE as you do your walk or run and eat donuts. Participants will have the entire day to complete the 5k. Participants may walk, run, or jog to complete the event and there is no time limit to complete the 5k. Send us a picture of you eating your donuts and proof that you completed the 5k (Picture of pedometer, smartwatch, smart phone or any other device that shows your distance. Email photos, name and contact phone number to bcollins@roundrocktexas.gov. Finishers will receive a Donut Dash t-shirt, donut socks and cooling towel (while supplies last).
All participants must register by May 15th at 12:00pm.
$10 per person
