EXHIBIT OPENING: POP ART

When: Thursday, July 9, from 5:30pm-7:00pm

Where: ArtSpace, 231 E. Main St, downtown Round Rock

What: The public is welcome to view the new exhibit in ArtSpace at its exhibit opening reception. Please note, due to a gallery closure the week of 6/29, this is a re-scheduled date from our usual “First Thursday” receptions. Our receptions are always free and open to the public, and refreshments will be served. The Pop Art exhibit will be on view from 7/7 – 8/1, and this exhibit features artists from Round Rock and surrounding areas (Taylor, Georgetown, Hutto, Belton, and Austin).

Who: The goal of Round Rock Arts is to encourage, support and enhance arts and cultural activities in the Round Rock area and transform the city into a thriving arts and culture scene. Made up of a group of dedicate and diverse individuals, the nonprofit, 501c3-designated, was formed in January 2009, and its headquarters is its downtown art gallery, ArtSpace. Round Rock Arts also produces annual events like Imagine and the Chalk Walk & Arts Festival.
