Georgetown Home Does Git Up Light Show for the Holidays
Local Family makes a Git Up Light Show for the holidays.
We love a good light show – especially one that does a fun theme with a popular song. So we were so excited to learn that a local family, who does a light show every year, decided to take the popular “Get Up” song, sung by Blanco Brown, and create a light show to it.
Blanco Brown’s hit song became super popular on Tik Tok, a social media platform that specializes in music and videos, earlier this year before hitting it mainstream. It was initially a filler song on Blanco’s debut album, but when another country song became popular, “Old Town Road”, Blanco decided to use it as his debut single.
And then he created the Git Up Dance Challenge, and the rest became history.
Fast forward to December and the Spindler Family of Georgetown, Texas decided to create a Git Up light show with the iconic song.
We hear that people are getting out of their cars in order to dance to the song!
