Imagine a Day Without Water | September 15, 2016
The City of Round Rock is participating in “Imagine a Day Without Water,” an effort to educate the public about the water infrastructure crisis currently facing the United States on September 15, 2016 . The City will have information booths at the library from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm.
Organized by the Value of Water Coalition, hundreds of organizations across the country will partake in events aimed at raising awareness about the crucial need for investment to ensure that no community in America is left without water and the infrastructure that brings it to and from homes and businesses.
Here, in Round Rock, we will have information booths on the City’s water, wastewater, stormwater, and conservation programs for interested residents to visit at the library on September 15th from 10am – 4pm. Staff from a variety of the Utility’s departments will be available for questions.
We will also be hosting a tour of the City’s Water Treatment Plant at 5:30pm. Space is limited, so sign up by emailing the plant manager to reserve your spot!
