The March of Dimes will be hosting their 3rd annual Run for Babies 5K on Saturday, May 14, 2016 at Old Settlers Park. The run begins at 7:30 am and is a chip timed race for all types of runners.

The registration fee is $35 pre-event, $40 day of, and $20 for students. Each runner received a Run for Babies T-shirt and a chip timer. There is also a team challenge for teams with over 10 runners. The 5 lowest times from each team are averaged together and the team with the lowest time wins the Team Challenge Trophy. It is a great way to get others involved from your organization or company and get everyone out to support a great cause.
Run for Babies takes place before the Austin March for Babies Walk begins. The day’s events are great for family, friends and coworkers. It is a great venue for a family picnic or corporate retreat. There will be family friendly activities such as playscapes, moon bounces, petting zoo, face painters, and games. There will also be food trucks and treats throughout the day!
