Williamson County Hispanic Heritage Committee, Round Rock Ballet Folklorico, City of Round Rock, Round Rock Arts and Univision will be sponsoring a Dia de los Muertos procession and festival on Saturday, November 2, 2019 at Centennial Plaza. Día de los Muertos is a traditional Mesoamerican holiday dedicated to the ancestors; it honors both death and the cycle of life. 29th Annual Fossil Fest
November 2 & 3
The Paleontological Society of Austin is hosting the 29th Annual Fossil Fest on November 2 and 3, 2019 at the Old Settler’s Heritage Association across from the Dell Diamond . The theme is “What’s in your Backyard? Dinosaurs!” seeks to explore and answer that question by focusing on the geologic history of Texas as told by the rock layers beneath our feet and the fossils they contain. More info here.

Kids ID at the Round Rock PD
The RRPD Kids ID program provides children’s identification kits at no charge to the community. One of the most important tools for officers to use when searching for a missing child is readily-available and up-to-date identifying information, such as a high-quality photo and fingerprints. RRPD uses Child ID Kits to provide parents with photos, fingerprint cards and other information in a packet that they can give to first responders if their child is ever missing or involved in an emergency. 6th Annual Clay Madsen Foundation Boots & BBQ Fundraiser
The Clay Madsen Foundation presents their 6th Annual Boots & BBQ Fundraiser on Saturday, November 23, 2019 at the Old Settler’s Association. The Clay Madsen Foundation was established for the purpose of honoring the name and memory of a lost friend and role model by aiding families in his community who have loved ones stricken with cancer. Round Rock Turkey Trot
Fleet Feet Sports and the City of Round Rock are excited to be hosting the 2nd Annual Round Rock Turkey Trot on Thursday, November 28, 2019. Challenge your family, friends, and co-workers to come out and run on the roads and trails through the scenic and historic Old Settlers Park. The race will feature an untimed 5 mile and 2 mile run/walk (both starting at 8 AM). There will be sponsor booths, refreshments, prizes, and giveaways. More details here.
