I don’t often take time for myself.  As busy moms, we seem to drop to the bottom of the list when it comes to “me time”.  So I was thrilled to be invited to visit the new location of Cadiz Laser Spa, as it was the type of spa I had never been to before.  To me, anything that involves a laser sounds too glamorous for a mom of 3 like me.  I couldn’t have been more wrong.

Cadiz Laser Spa specializes in aesthetic laser treatments using four different state-of-the-art laser systems.  They are under the direction of a physician, Dr. Louis Apostolakis, so they are qualified to offer advanced treatments as well.

Some of the treatments they offer include:

Cosmetic Resurfacing – A laser treatment at Cadiz that can be used to clear up brown pigment from sun damage, small red veins associated with rosacea, or acne problems.

Facial Collagen Rejuvenation– This procedure uses a dual-wavelength treatment for skin toning and wrinkle reduction.

Laser Hair Removal/Spider Vein Removal– Cadiz offers laser hair removal and spider vein treatments that are priced per area.  Laser hair removal can typically take anywhere from 4-8 treatments, depending on the area being treated.

Corrective Treatments – Cadiz offers several types of facials, including Dermaplane, which gives a great exfoliation, and the Oxygen Facial.  Better known as the Madonna facial, specialized Oxygen is infused into the face, to hydrate the deep layers of the skin and encourage new cell growth, elastin, and collagen production.

Cadiz Laser Spa also offers Botox, Restylane, several anti-aging peels, and Venus Concept Freeze. And they have a massage therapist on staff for massages and pedicures.

Now all of this sounds pretty medical and stuffy right?

But Cadiz Laser Spa is the exact opposite of that.  From the moment I walked in, the staff at Cadiz made me feel at home and comfortable.  They have a beautiful office at University Commons, it’s very professional.  But they are able to put you at ease, into a relaxing, spa mode before you even start your procedure – very unlike a medical office.

I was invited to have a treatment and was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable it was.  The aesthetician was extremely knowledgeable as we discussed what type of treatments would be best for my skin type.  She took her time in explaining the different options and what each would feel like.  And she gave me some excellent advice in home maintenance as well.

The rooms are very clean and professional.  And though the treatment was new to me, it was never uncomfortable.  Of course, when your lying on a massaging bed, under a warm blanket, in a dimmed room, you can’t help but feel relaxed.  I had an Oxygen facial and y’all, it felt amazing.  Facials have never really been relaxing to me, but this one was.  I felt great after I left.

One other thing that struck me during my visit was the importance of taking care of our skin.  We spend so much time on our hair or our teeth, and many times our skin gets put on the back burner – though quarterly treatments to help with fine lines, wrinkles, pigmentation, etc. can make us look years younger.

Cadiz offers a complementary consultation – it’s worth hearing about all the treatments they have to offer.  Not only do they talk about skin, but they provide great information on nutrition, lifestyle and stress management – as these all effect the overall appearance of our skin.

Though we have lots of great hair salons in Round Rock, I haven’t been able to find a full service spa without driving into Austin.  I was very impressed with how Cadiz Laser Spa has a great spa feel to it, while offering many of the treatments you couldn’t get in a regular spa.  So don’t put yourself at the bottom of the list.  Check out how Cadiz Laser Spa can give you some “me time”.

Cadiz Laser Spa is located at 410 Sandy Brook Dr. #205 in Round Rock (off University Blvd).  Check out their website for more information.

This is a sponsored post, but all opinions are my own.

I am so excited to see you talking about Cadiz Laser Spa. I have been going to Chris and her staff for a few years now and I could not be happier with my results. I started out with under arm hair removal ( which is so worth the money), I then progressed to facials and removal of my brown sun damage and age spots. I have been so happy with my results that my husband and daughter both are now going.

My teenage daughter has acne facials and treatments done regularly and could not be more confident with her looks.

My husband may not be happy with me saying this but he also goes to Cadiz for laser hair removal on his back. It is AWESOME. He is so happy with his results as well.

Thank you for mentioning them as they really do have the best customer service and I am so comfortable going there.
