Special Events at the Library This Week

Head over to the Round Rock Public Library for Family Construction Zone on July 1, 2019 and enjoy some collaborative construction as we bring out the Library’s giant collections of LEGO(R) bricks, Keva Planks, and blocks for the entire family to enjoy. It’s free, come-and-go constructive fun.

Down South Word of Mouth will be at the Round Rock Public Library on Tuesday, July 2, 2019 for a Tween Interactive Storytelling Workshop intertwined with improv. Down South Word of Mouth will also be at the Round Rock Public Library on Tuesday, July 2, 2019 for Teen Interactive Storytelling Workshop. Teens, ages 12-18, may preregister for a storytelling workshop mixed with improv. Down South Word of Mouth merges the art of storytelling with fun interactive games. By mixing the creation and performance of stories, friends can learn more about one another in a workshop full of fun and surprises!

Music on Main
The City of Round Rock brings you Music on Main, a free music series on the Prete Main Street Plaza stage. Bring a lawn chair or blanket and the entire family!

4th of July Events in Round Rock

Celebrate Independence Day at the Brushy Creek 4th of July Parade & Festival on July 4, 2019 with your Brushy Creek neighbors! Join the parade or enjoy watching the colorful floats and walkers. The free festival includes Live Music, Watermelon, Inflatable Fun, and a sky-high “Spray Down” from the Sam Bass Fire Department truck

Round Rock goes ALL OUT for the Fourth of July. The city of Round Rock throws a big festival in Old Settlers Park. We have spent the entire day at Frontier Days the past few years and had a blast. Check out our tips for the July Fourth Frontier Days Celebration.

The 2019Round Rock Sertoma 4th of July Parade is getting bigger and better than ever and will feature giant helium inflatables, marching bands and proceeds on a 1.5 mile route on Mays Street, between Mays Crossing and Highway 79. The Parade will start early this year to beat the heat!

Round Rock Market Days

The next Round Rock Market Days is coming up on Saturday, June 1, 2019. The Round Rock Market Days is a vendor & small business fair that is on every first Saturday of the month (except in October). Each month they has a new theme, making it a fun event to attend.

Home Depot Free Kid’s Workshop

Home Depot Free Kid’s Workshop offers a FREE, hands-on workshop designed for children aged 5 – 12. It is offered the first Saturday of each month at our local Round Rock Home Depot store. These workshops are aimed to teach children do-it-yourself skills, tool safety, and instill a sense of pride and accomplishment. All kids get to keep their craft and receive a free Kids Workshop apron, a commemorative pin and a certificate of completion.
