Join the Williamson Museum as they celebrate the season this month.
December 2017 Events/Activities
*Friday, Dec 1st – First Friday– 6pm-8pm Enjoy the delightful sounds of the Sun City Dulcimers while shopping at Willies General Store for all your one-of-a-kind Christmas goodies.
*Saturday, December 2nd– Christmas Stroll – The museum will open after the parade. Cocoa with Cowboys will run from 6pm– 8pm. Stop by for hot chocolate and cookies while visiting with your favorite cowboy characters.
*Saturday, Dec 9th – Hands on History – 10am-2pm. Come learn about decorations for Victorian Era Christmas trees! Kids will learn about different Victorian Era Christmas traditions and décor and will make their own Paper Cone Ornaments! Free and open to the public!
*Wednesday, Dec 13th – The Salon—6:30 pm. Enjoy good food and great company while you hear Michael Barnes, writer for the Austin American Statesman, speak on his book Indelible Austin: Selected Histories. Seating is limited. First come, first serve.
*December 15 – Candlelight Christmas (6pm-8pm) Join us for our first Candlelight Christmas event and learn how the Swedish settlers celebrated the holiday. Meet St. Lucia, sample the smorgasbord, and shop for unique holiday items in the museum store.
