Veterans Day in Round Rock
Monday, November 11, 2019 is Veterans Day – a day we honor men & women who have served or are currently serving in our country’s military. And there are several events and businesses recognizing and honoring our Veterans in very special ways.
Round Rock ISD Parent & Family Seminars
Round Rock ISD is hosting a Future Readiness Parent Seminar entitled Understanding High School Academies & Electives for parents with their 8th – 10th graders on Tuesday, November 12, 2019 at Deerpark Middle School. Advance registration is required.
Dinovember Prehistoric Pre-K Playtime at the Library
The Round Rock Public Library presents Dinovember Prehistoric PreK Playtime, a science and active creative play activity for ages 18 months – 6 years on November 15, 2019. Children and their caregivers can move at their own pace through stations with dinosaur-friendly themes.
Santa’s Wonderland at Bass Pro Shop
Santa’s Wonderland is back at Bass Pro Shops and we have all the details to meet with Santa this year! Explore Santa’s Wonderland from November 16 – December 24, 2019 which features a sprawling Christmas village including rustic Christmas cabins, animated holiday characters, interactive talking caribou, elves set amongst snow-covered hills, illuminated Christmas trees, and free activities for the whole family! Check out the details to meet Santa Claus at Bass Pro Shop’s Santa Wonderland this season!
Hike for Hunger with RRPD and US Army
Round Rock Police Department will once again team up with the U.S. Army to sponsor the 2019 Hike for Hunger Food Drive benefiting the Round Rock Area Serving Center on Saturday, November 16, 2019. Participants will hike 2 miles from the U.S. Army Round Rock Recruiting Center to the Round Rock Area Serving Center carrying rucksacks filled with food. The public is encouraged to join the hike alongside the men and women of the Police Department and U.S. Army. A free shuttle will bring hikers back to the Recruiting Center.
