Reading Adds Up Event at the Library
Can kids really love both reading and math? You bet! Explore how with Reading Adds Up, an event featuring come-and-go stations that welcome kids, parents, educators, and childcare providers on Saturday, October 12, 2019 at the Round Rock Public Library. Students from Texas State University Round Rock’s Teacher Education program host a fun-filled afternoon of math and literacy. These future teachers will read a variety of children’s stories and then work with kids in small groups on math problems related to the story. They will have individual stations targeting developmentally appropriate goals for learners ages 4-11. Come when you can, stay as long as you like. This free event is in the Library’s Room B.
